ABOUT US

Sherri (Van Well) Cass was born and raised in Henry, SD, on a family farm/ranch operation which specialized in raising commercial cow/calf pairs and registered quarter horses. She grew up breaking and training horses; began competing at the age of five, and trained her first horse for profit at the age of eight. She is a past 4-H, high school, intercollegiate, futurity, derby, SDRA, NRCA, AQHA, and WPRA champion, and has competed on local, state, regional, circuit, national, and world levels with great success on horses she has trained. She holds many titles in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, breakaway roping, and all around competition. Her horses have AQHA Great Plains Region Women’s Horse of the Year and SDRA Horse of the Year recognition. She graduated with honors at the top of her class with an Associate of Applied Science in Equine Management. Sherri is blessed with a true love and passion for horses and rodeo.

Jeremy Cass grew up working on large cattle and horse operations in central SD, He learned first hand the meaning of the phrase “no hoof…no horse” at a young age. Upon completion of high school, he attended Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School. He was then certified and from there, he continued his study and hands on farrier work in Australia at Coolmore Stables and Woodland Farms. He has also worked extensively with veterinarians at Littleton Large Animal Clinic, in Littleton, CO. With 19 years of experience balancing the hoof to the limb, he now specializes in performance horse hoof care, and has had great success treating and reversing laminitis cases, and other lameness issues in horses.

Together, Sherri and Jeremy, along with their daughter Taylyn, take pride in their knowledge and dedication to horses and horse owners by providing honest, quality, and professional services.
